| Indication | Lactage Novilha LS is a pelleted feed, formulated with 18% CP, minerals, vitamins A, D and E, and Lasalocide Sodium, performance and feed efficiency improver. Ration formulated to meet the needs of dairy heifers (4th to 6th month of age) up to 21 days after calving. Also recommended for dry cows, from the moment of drying to the 21st day before the calving.

| Use recommendations | For heifers of dairy breeds, provide 0.5 to 1.5% of their body weight (BW) of Lactage Novilha LS. The amount will depend on body condition and quality of bulk feed. If the silage is corn and/or sorghum, the feed will vary from 0.5 to 1.0% BW of the animal. In the case of grass silage, sugar cane and/or grazing the supply of Lactage Novilha LS will vary from 1.0 to 1.5%. To avoid fat accumulation in the udder is suggested daily weight gain between 0.75 and 0.80 kg for large breeds. For dry cows, provide 0.5 to 1.0% PV of feed, up to 21 days before calving. The consumption of the Lactage Novilha LS ration should vary from 2.0 to 5.0 kg/animal/day. To avoid metabolic disorders it is important to adapt the microbial flora to the non-structural carbohydrate sources and urea. The recommended adaptation period should be at least 14 days, with gradual increase of the feed. |
